Mr. Y P Chee Mr. Y P Chee is the principal of Y P Chee & Associates, an engineering consultant in building services, and engineering management. . He has about 40 years experience in the planning, design, management and inspections of energy conscious mechanical systems. He has also good experience in the management of building services both during and after construction period. He has also designed, supervised and directed several major and minor projects in Singapore, and a few buildings in Australia.
Mr Chee has been noted for his energy conscious approach to problem solving in all mechanical aspects of building services, and related engineering solutions.
He graduated with B E (Hons) from the University of Adelaide in 1969 from Australia. He is a Registered Professional Engineer (Mechanical); Fellow of Institute of Engineers, Singapore(IES); Fellow of ASHRAE and Member of Institution of Fire Engineers (Singapore Branch) (IFE ). Registered Inspector (RI - Mechanical & Electrical)
He is also an Authorized Examiner - Lift(LL) & Hoist(LH) lifted by ropes and Hydraulic and Hoist; Lifting Gear and Lifting Appliance (LE Class: 101, 103, 201 to 203, 209, 301 to 304 & 399). Currently, he is the President of the ASHRAE Singapore Chapter.
