Ashish Rakheja Mr. Ashish Rakheja – Director of Spectral Services Consultants, completed his graduation from REC Allahabad in Mechanical Engineering followed by M.Tech in Thermal Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi in the year 1997
He has been working with Spectral for last fourteen years and expertise includes design & coordination of multi-disciplinary engineering activities.
He heads a team of engineers and has worked on projects all over India. The work profile includes design, liaisoning with client and assistance in project management on behalf of clients.
He is involved in imparting training to budding Architects in the field of Building Services as a visiting faculty at School of Planning & Architecture (SPA) and Vastu Kala Academy, New Delhi for last several years.
He has been the panel member in revision of National Building Code on HVAC System and alternate member in panel for revision of ducting system set-up by Bureau of Indian Standard.
He is the person, who has handled design activities of services for design of several green building projects in India over which four have been rated LEED-Platinum by US Green Building Council. He is spearheading the green building movement in India in capacity of role as member of LEED India formation committee and also a certified LEED India Trainer.
He is acknowledged as a seasoned consulting engineer with vast design experience of all types of projects including IT Campus, Hotels, Hospitals, Industrial, Institutional, Commercial and Airport buildings.
He is Member of American Society of Heating Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE USA), President Elect of ASHRAE India Chapter, Past President of Delhi Chapter of Indian Society of Heating, Refrigerating & Air Conditioning Engineers (ISHRAE-India) and National President ISHRAE. He has presented several papers at the various National Forums.
