Q&A

What are the effects of Electromagnetic Interference (EMI)? How does the Digital Scroll technology address EMI issues?

Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) creates interference in the functioning of electronic devices, such as hospital equipments (like the MRI scanner), electronic gadgets in telecom applications, server rooms in IT companies, etc. With the VRF system using Digital Scroll technology, there is no issue of EMI because capacity modulation happens with the loading and unloading of Scrolls. It is a mechanical operation; therefore, it is not necessary to put EMI filter in VRF central A/C systems using Digital Scroll, unlike Inverter-based VRF systems.
